France, 1940. Wehrmacht soldiers are settled on the French border. They're bored and relaxed except for Hans, the rookie of the group, who takes his duty very seriously.

He left his confortable home with noble but naïve beliefs about the army. Apart, Hans is struggling to fit in and has for only comrade Peter, a simple but kind guy.

One evening, after a lot of stolen alcohol and women clothes is brought back to the camp, a show with cross-dressed soldiers is organized. Uninhibited by alcohol, the men escape their loneliness and express their desires. This will be Hans’ opportunity to prove himself in order to finally be accepted by the group.
